About the Author
George Samuel Clason (1874-1957) was a US author who was born in Louisiana, Missouri, and educated at the University of Nebraska. He fought in the Spanish-American War of 1898 in his youth and later on opened a publishing company. He holds the distinction of publishing the first road map of the USA and Canada. As an author, he developed a new method of teaching financial success through parables and published many pamphlets on the subject which became very popular and were later compiled in the present volume The Richest Man in Babylon.
